At 25, I thought I would have my life figured out… but the truth is, I don’t. How about you? When you were younger, what kind of vision did you have for your life? And when you look at where you are now, how close are you to becoming the person you want to be or living the life that you want? Hi everyone!
Today is my 25th birthday and I’m excited to share this little short film that I created about my quarter-life crisis… 😂🎈 In the weeks leading up to my birthday, I wanted to make something that encapsulated the emotions I’ve felt about growing up and “figuring out my path.” It’s been a journey for sure, but I’m proud of where I am now.
I hope by watching this video, it reminds you that it’s okay to feel lost sometimes, and it’s okay to not “be where you thought you’d be.” Everything happens for reason; life is not a race, and it’s all about living in the present moment and enjoying the process instead of focusing on the end result. I’ve heard that more people are depressed when they “pursue the idea of happiness,” so instead of waiting for happiness to come to you, create happiness with your own hands. You don’t need to wait to be happy. You can be happy now! 🤗💖
Anyways, wishing you all the best as we move forward in 2021! Thank you for being here and supporting me. It truly means a lot more to me than you know, and don’t forget that I’m also here cheering you on too!
Your friend,
Mel ^__^
